John McCain just conceded.
Very eloquently. I have a lot of respect for that man and everything he said.
2 more months. Change the United States of America.
It is a fine moment to be an American. I am proud of our nation.

I’m pretty sure I’ve decided on the six songs that I am going to use for the EP I am working. I might choose less than six to save time. Use the others for a later release.
This month I am going to focus solely on lyrics. Writing them. Tuning them. Recording them.
I have 26 days to finalize them.
I need to start working on that.
Still shooting for a deadline date of January 1st, 2009.
Mostly on track for that.
Take a listen to the latest versions of the songs over in THE AUDIO SECTION

Since the fire, things have been a little crazy.
No, really.
However, I have finally gotten back on track thanks to my friends and family.
For the last three months I have been writing new music. The goal is to have an EPs worth by the end of the year, and then spend 2009 getting it released. An EP s about six songs. I have seven, plus Devin is going to be sending me a couple more for evaluation. Then, once they are decided upon, we will get together and pound out the six we like.
This all needs to be done before the end of the year.
I implore you to listen to what we have up right now.
You can check them out at OUR AUDIO PAGE or on our MYSPACE
Thanks for listening,
~E~

I am talking to you all now…. from the future.
I have to wear shades. Maybe that’s what the song is really about. The future is so bright, because the sun rises here first. So scientifically speaking, the future is pretty bright. but only for a period of less than 24 hours. because the sun also sets in the future before it does in the present.
Any how.
I am in Manchester, New Hampshire.
It’s 8:00am but for me… it’s really 5:00 AM.
But, I have to be up. Because this morning, I am going to see Tara. For the first time in over a year. So I am both excited and nervous. And I desperately want to go back to bed.

Purgatory is waiting stand-by for flights that are over booked one more that the seats available.
I didn’t make it today.
The next flight is oversold by 30.
The one after that I might make. At 1:00, but that begins to approach the impossible. Especially if the previous oversold transfers to this one.
The one after that is OB by 10.
Next one I might make is at 11:00 pm.
The problem being that with each overbooked, the remaining get moved to the next flight together. So the number waiting just goes up.
I think I’m going to try the flight at 11:00 tonight.

This is my first trip out to Tara in a long time. I’m excited, nervous, scared, and a whole range of other emotions.
With the fuel crisis, there aren’t as many flights out to Manchester. And they are all really expensive. Now, if I could afford it, it wouldn’t be an issue. But because I fly stand by, the chances of me getting on one of these few and severely overbooked flights drops to below zero.
I have already been shifted once. Flight to DC overbooked by two. This one that I’m now waiting for, well… According to the online records, it’s overbooked by 12. So I don’t think so.
I’ve already pricelined my hotel and car. So that is money I won’t be getting back.
If I don’t get out this morning and get to new Hampshire by 7:00 I lose my car. If I don’t get out of Seattle by 2:00 then my trip is cancelled.
This blows. This flight is overbooked by at least one. They just started asking for seat sacrifices.
I don’t think I’m going to make it.

I feel I no longer know how to treat people.
–It’s hard to explain bad luck. It’s like an ear for music. Either you have it or you don’t.–

This was the first major replacement purchase for my family since the fire.
But my parents thought that it should be the first.
I’m happy.
Also, we move into our temporary house today. And out of the hotel. I need to call my boss and let him know.

My key broke off in the ignition for my van.
I had to have it drilled out.
But….
I got my picture taken with Wil Wheaton (and he threw up the horns)
We move into our temporary house this Wednesday
The insurance company called to wake me up… to let me know that my laptop is indeed covered and that I should go out and buy a brand new one. He will be sending much more money to my father today.
Is this where I start looking up?
